Navigating the seas of responsibility, leaving traces of eco-footprints.

We are of the firm belief that environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and community engagement cannot be separated from our business goals. Consequently, sustainable practices are integrated into all aspects of our operations, encompassing initiatives such as water and energy conservation, waste management with a focus on reducing plastic pollution, livelihood development, environmental preservation, and a host of other efforts.

Environmental

Demonstrating our commitment to all our stakeholders including the communities and environment in which our businesses operate, we earmark a portion of our yearly earnings for worldwide corporate social responsibility endeavors that are implemented globally. These CSR ventures and undertakings, which concentrate on Education, Healthcare, Environmental Conservation, Marine Preservation, Reduction of Ocean Plastic Pollution, Support for Migrants and Refugees, and Disaster Relief, align harmoniously with our overarching CSR vision.

Victory Shipping strictly adheres to and is compliant with International Maritime Organisation’s guidelines on International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (Marpol). The Convention comprises rules designed to prevent and reduce pollution originating from ships, encompassing both unintentional pollution and that arising from regular operational activities.

Sustainability

Our strategic sustainability outlook is based on the ‘triple bottom line’ of economic, environmental and social performance.

We understand the importance of identifying and engaging with all relevant stakeholders, further supported through adherence to the Global Reporting Standards (GRI Standards) framework that contributes towards the initiatives aligned to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Governance

Our strong and all-encompassing system of corporate governance aims to establish a supportive atmosphere for development in a well-organized, lasting, and a transparent manner. This approach to corporate governance is ingrained in every aspect of our business divisions, and it’s this guiding principle that consistently generates benefits for all our partners both internally and externally.

The foundation of our governance structure is reinforced by internal policies, procedures, and systems designed to meet and, whenever feasible, surpass established optimal methods. Alongside these, there are specific mechanisms in place to ensure adherence to obligatory regulatory standards. This structure undergoes regular assessments and revisions to incorporate international benchmarks, evolving regulations, and changing stakeholder demands, all while upholding its core values of responsibility, involvement, honesty, and openness.
